In Scripture... "If there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind." Philippians 2:1-2

Who is my Brother, who is my Sister? As Paul writes in Philippians, can we be of the same mind, today, in 2001 with the pain and hurt that is filling our hearts? Not unlike at NYC, the Pentagon, and PA, our bothers and sisters suffer some where in our world, every day, at the hands of people who are terrorists. Only, if we have the same love as Jesus Christ, and can live with Christ, in the Father, through the Spirit, are we of one mind in and with Our Lord. One mind in one accord comes when we love our sisters and brothers as Christ with compassion. One heart comes when we give love to the 1,000's who have died and 1,000's who are injured at the hands of people who are terrorists. One Mystical Body comes when we say at every death in the world, this is a death in my family. |
