2 Cor 9:6-11

Sparsely, works? 

As every farmer knows, we plant seeds secure in the ground after weeding and preparing the ground; we water and feed the soil and the seeds; we weed and keep the soil ready to hold the growing seed; we prune the growth of the plants; we harvest the food; and prepare the land for new seeds.

If and when we do this with little effort or care, we interrupt the cycle and abort the full development of the seed to plant.  When we are fully involved in the proceed, we reap the healthy food to nurture our bodies.

To be true to who we are, we cannot do any more that the Firefighters did on the 9.11 and give our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls for the sowing, developing, and harvesting of life itself.  Sparsely does not work for us.
