In Scripture...

"I have let myself be found by those who did not seek me.  I said, 'Here I am!'"

Is. 65:1-2

"Here I AM"
inspired by Ignatius Loyola

Can we be one of these people?

Yes, even those of us who search for Christ, do not search for Christ where Our Lord can be found?

Even when we say we welcome Christ and meet Christ is all the corners of our lives, we do not know the Christ who is hidden in overwhelming fears and do not welcome Christ who comes as our neighbor in pain.

Even at prayer when we say we have our hearts centered in Christ, we get taken away in a distraction and consciously continue the distraction's traveling path.

Even at prayer when we receive Christ's love and feel Christ's presence, we can fall prey to disbelief.

Even in finding Christ, we find ways of finding Christ in places where we are not comfortable or afraid of looking.

Even in letting Christ be found by us who do not seek where I AM, we are constantly guided to find inch by inch and day by day to see more clearly and love more dearly the Lord who loves us first.
