Word

These words we know so well and yet we have no idea the real meaning
of an all loving God who speaks the Word.
How do we even begin to
intellectually understand what these words mean? We do not begin because
cognitively we can never even begin to understand this mystery.
The
only place to take a mystery is the heart. Like Mary, we hold and ponder
these words as Word in our hearts.
In reading the Scripture with our
heart in a slow and pondering way by stopping when the words speak to our
heart for prayer, we will begin to live in mystery.
Let the Word fill our
being, speak to our heart, and transform our daily living.
