In Scripture we parallel the events in Mary's life to the events of 9.11...

"When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, 'Woman, behold, your son.' Then he said to the disciple, 'Behold, your mother.' And from that hour the disciple took her into his home."

John 19:26-27

At the Cross....

Jesus is giving His Mother to us thought the loved disciple to carry in our hearts as we ponder all these happening in our lives.

Mary is a Mother with all the sorry of a Mother whose Son is dying before her eyes.

Like the people who have given their lives in the attacks of 9.11, Jesus was put to death for political reasons of which He was innocent.

Like Mary, those they loved came to the WTC, the Pentagon, and the field in PA in disbelief that their missing loved ones have died.
