Giver without Gifts
It seems to me that the spiritual journey is a
relationship with God. It is entering in the depth of relationship
with God. It is God's call to love. God who loves us first;
therefore, we cannot even begin to love God, ourselves and others
before God loves us into being love...
In the journey of love, we come to places of being with Christ in ways
that are not our usual human way of being. In the moving from praying
to pray'er, we are embracing a way of life that is engulfing us in an
ever deeper relating to God as lover...
To see the journey in the positive, we are not negating dying to self
or the dark night; rather, we are being with God as Giver without
Divine Gifts to support our human needs. From moving from doing to
being, we are finding God's ways in our lives as we are transformed in
the Spirit to be Christ for ourselves and each other.
Yes, this does mean loosing, dying, death, pain, and suffering that
are beyond words. Yes, it means living with an ever-present absent
God. Yes, it means living by faith and not by head and heart. Yes,
it means living in hope that is becoming a relationship with God.
Yes, it is living a relationship that truly is. Yes, it means loving
without human emotion, feelings, and comfort to love as Christ loves
us.
Christ, the Wounded Healer, heals our past hurts and injuries with
much pain as Christ asks us to relive the past for the transforming
moments to bring us into the present. As with the future, Christ asks
us to heal the coming worries and frustrations to be transformed in
living in the present.
The Present Moment, the Eternal NOW, is our relationship with The
Trinity as we living with The Father, through Christ, in Spirit!
Bless Now!
