Trinity as
Director
For me, the Trinity bring us to full mature
grace, blessings, and wisdom by our spiritual journey of letting go of what
holds us back from fully loving the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It
is in this journey, that we travel the roads of Benedict,
Ignatius, Theresa-the Little Flower, John, Theresa, Eckhart, Paul of the
Cross, and others... The very movement from being called to begin our
intimate relationship with the Trinity to answering the call to companioning
to the union, is the spiritual
journey of union in, with, and through the Trinity.
How does this
happen?
It seems to me that we are called by the relationship of the
Father, Son, or Holy Spirit that is deepest in our hearts.
As we says
yes to this relationship and grow in love, we begin to journey the
spiritual life in ways beyond our understanding.
As we are well on our
way, we come to a deeper place in love and are called by the relationship of the Father or Son or Holy Spirit (the one we do not have a personal
relationship) that is deepest in our hearts.
As we journey ever deeper
into this spiritual mystery, we come to an even deeper place in love and are
called by the relationship of the Father or Son or Holy Spirit (the one we do
not have a personal relationship) that is deepest in our hearts.
