Befriend
the enemy?
There is only
living on holy ground that is now unknown to my way of existing. I am
asked by my absent, ever present, Lord to befriend solitude and
poverty. Befriend the enemy?
I now look for sacred spaces to be in solitude. As the journey
continues my thirst and longing of my inner desert is wandering in
search of a sacred physical place of silence and solitude. This search
leads to chapels, monasteries, and hermitages. It is as if the
external places become a sacred womb for the inner sacred space to
create healing. The womb will give birth to new ways of being in the
overpowering Divine Trinity.
As I am safely held by the sacred outer space, I can emerge myself
into the unknown of the inner space.
The journey now leads to the Passion. My passion and my dying to all
that is not part of our relationship. I now live my life in
relationship with Our Lord. Our covenant means that we will always be
friends. Even in the dying, He is faithful...continues
