In Scripture...

"This is the joy I feel, and it is complete.  He must grow greater, I must grow less."

John 3:28-30

Divine Nativity from Mystical Death
inspired by Scripture and Paul of the Cross

When we walk with Christ, we take on His ways and give up our own.

We do not give up who we are at the core of our being.  We give up the ways that are not becoming to be called Christians.

The ways of anger, hate, envy, thinking badly of people we work with, not caring for those we live with, not showing love to our family, and refusing to truly accepting ourselves.

These are the ways that keep us from Christ and being Christ to ourselves and each other.

This year, Christ will be born in our hearts, only, if we prepare the way of the Lord to grow ever greater within and without as we become less and less of what is not of the Lord.

Christ is born to us each time we die to self.  The divine nativity come in the mystical death of living the mystery of the Cross.
